Based on the Broadway show, itself based on the Studs Terkel book, this folksy, consistently charming musical is a loving tribute to the working men and women across America. From a series of interviews with construction workers, waitresses, firemen, parking attendants, secretaries, truck drivers, cleaning women and even prostitutes, Terkel (who also narrates) explores the individual work ethic.
